Not many American girls seem like marriage material these days. That goes for most Westernized women including filipinas. It's difficult to find someone who you want to give your heart to and still communicate on the same level without the emotional battle. Sometimes women from other counties appear to be better suited in that respect, but who knows in the long run if really is "happily ever after"? The grass always seems greener on the other side.

wow I was shocked when I read this because I couldn't believe how narrow minded you are. The only thing that I can figure is that you are a bitter man who couldn't find a decent girl here or a girl who could tolerate you ancient views on how a woman "should" be. The difference between american woman and woman from many of the countries that you are talking about, is that they aren't completely submissive, which is obviously something EXTREMELY important to you. Also, you are sterotyping like crazy just because you have had a few bad runs, but to be completely honest your views would be reason enough for any girl to treat you badly. And I'm sorry that woman have emotions and that you feel a good relationship means no disagreements. It's wonderful that your "japense" girlfriend is always perfectly happy and meets all of your "needs", but people aren't always happy and it's ok to talk about that or it should be with your significant other. You are just looking for a housewife to cook you dinner, rasie the kids, and have sex with you when you want. That's great but it's not always about JUST the mans needs and wants. Also, woman can have other ambitions and that shouldn't be such a horrible thing. You are the kind of man most american woman wouldn't want to date because you aren't looking for someone who is 50/50 with you like you claim. If anything you sound selfish, insecure, and needy. I'm pre-med right now and american, so I guess I'm lucky that I've found a great guy who encourages me to reach my goals and who understands that our relationship isn't more about one person over the other.

I'm not sure how my computer sucked me into reading this piece but once I started I couldn't stop. My name is Christina, I live in Australia and am happily married, I don't think your very smart! why would a man shot his own foot off? What a jerk! Do you think that since your such a weazle of a man that this may be why your meeting the women that you are judging so critically! Are you a dominant man? you must be why would you need a women who may only understand every forth word that spills from the **** that you speak.

This is a pathetic piece. Nothing but salve to American men with low self-confidence who were or who feel rejected by an American woman. A masturbatory ego-boost that allows any loser who can't get a date (oh, of course - it's because all white American women are bitchy and stuck up, it's THEIR problem, no need to consider what shortcomings YOU might have) to fantasize about exotic women waiting to obediently suck them dry every night. This is basically a romantic novel for a dude: it has an evil villain, a sex-hungry princess, and the lead character is US DUDES WHEN WE GO TO HUNGARY AND JAPAN AND GET DINNER COOKED BY OUT HOT WIFE BECAUSE WE ARE ALL SUCCESSFUL RICH AMERICANS, BRO-DOGGS!!! Poorly written, fatuous, borderline misogynistic... yeah I can see why this would have a huge viewcount, it's getting passed amongst every network of losers possible. Now don't get me wrong, I don't argue with the basic notion that marriage with women from cultures that encourage community over individuality necessarily produce women like this. And sure, it makes a great situation for a guy. No argument. And sure, American giris are bigger than other countries. This is because those countries are poorer, or lack our horrible eating and exercise habits. But this is totally disingenuous because you take anyone out of the context of their locale and put them in the land of burgers and SUVs and.... it's basically inevitable. Not for all, but for most. My main point is: this piece is poorly written, most if not all of the anecdotes are made up, it assumes that no one changes their habits and value system if they leave their home country, it removes any obligation of self-awareness and advancement on the part of the dude, it groups "American women" as one type of person... it's just totally pitiful, sad nonsense... for and by sad/pitiful/fatuous people. Thank you for stating in words what I've felt for a long time. Couldn't agree more. Not all American women fit this category, but at least 95% of the white american "career-oriented&quo t; women do. Complete ******* who feel they're God's gift to men. Biggest mistake of your life is to marry one.

whew...that was pretty strong. I'm not sure I would catagorize all women in America as fitting that description, but, I would agree the ones I've come across in my 52 years have mostly fit that description. And of course, I've known thousands of guys who went "under the knife" and came up testicless as well. So.. the article is a bit "in your face", but, sadly it's pretty much on the money. I lived with a Phillipino woman for three years, and that woman never bitched. I couldn't believe it. I dated a Chinese woman, and she was so appreciative, and sweet, and was just such an unbelievably good woman. I do plan on marrying a Filipina woman, and I, like the author will never go back. I used to think guys who married Asian women were looking for servants, and I thought that was pathetic. I had met a couple of guys who gave the impression that this is the reason they chose Asian wives, and I was turned off by the idea. Boy.. I sure screwed myself for years. I had it all wrong, and I can't believe what I was missing. Does that mean all Asian women are perfect? I doubt it. Does it mean all American women are *******?? I'll bet back to you on that. (Depends on what day of the month it is, and whether your balls are in a wringer). Guys who are naysayers like I once was....give it a try. It may work for you. Its easy to marry for the wrong reasons, and that may explain some of the marital problems attributed to American women. However there is a trait among foreign women to make the marriage work in the face of difficulties, that trait is sorely lacking in American women. A guy who is looking for someone to fill the "traditional female role" has little incentive to seek an American born woman.

I'd like to be married and have a couple more kids BUT would rather be alone than with an American woman. Their only interest is MONEY.
